Howdy folks, it’s been another awesome year at camp. We’ve had more and more campers looking for just the type of camping experience we offer than ever before! We’re continuously humbled to be sold out week after week for the 2nd year in a row!
Each year, we have a few unfortunate incidents that remind us that not everyone is familiar with carry-in, carry-out or “Leave no Trace.” We provide a great deal of information on our website and on signage at the campground. Since we so rarely see these things, we’ve never posted about them.
So, just a reminder, we ask campers to carry-out what they bring in. This is a flower box, not a dumpster. After cleaning this up, we saw another group bringing their trash to the same flower box and fortunately were able to speak with them. Poor behavior leads to repeats.
