The sunsets are quite spectacular, and time spent in the evening at the fireside most enjoyable. A continental breakfast is included with your stay which includes homemade baked goods, cereals, fruits, and beverages. Inside are three separate and comfortable lounge areas with fireplaces, comfy chairs and sofas, TV, phone, books, magazines and area information. We also have a variety of games and we offer free WiFi service. Our lounge areas, dining room, and wraparound decks are for our guest's enjoyment. Our local area offers an assortment of recreational activities, all of which are surrounded by the unique features of Downeast Maine. There are novelty and antique shops, local craftsmen, farms and quaint little fishing villages. We are just three miles from the entrance of the Schoodic Section of Acadia National Park, and approximately one hour's drive to Bar Harbor Maine or ride the Ferry which leaves from Winter Harbor just minutes away and you'll be shopping in Bar Harbor before you know it.
