While the ACE - Western Great Lakes Region gets to claim the coasters in the Chicago area, there are a few often overlooked Illinois coasters in our region south of I-80 that we'd like to highlight for World Roller Coaster Appreciation Month.

Aerie's Resort & Winery in Grafton is home to a Wiegand Sports USA mountain coaster that offers sweeping views of the Mississippi River and is accessible only by chair lift.

Grady's Family Fun Park in Bloomington is home to the Orient Express family coaster from Wisdom Rides plus a small powered coaster.
