Easy Campfire Mac & Cheese

This recipe makes 4 portions.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups elbow macaroni
8 oz prepared Alfredo sauce (just over half a jar)
1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1/4 cup mozzarella cheese
1/4-1/2 cup half and half or whole milk
Salt and pepper to taste

Add all ingredients to cooked and cooled pasta. Split between 4 mini pie pans or 1 large one. Add just enough milk so the mixture is loose. Seal the top with tinfoil, ensuring to spray the food contact side of the foil with non-stick spray. Warm for 15-20 minutes on a campfire on a wire cooking rack.

Helpful tip!
When cooking on a campfire, use the coals and not the flames to cook (with the exception of marshmallows and hot dogs, of course!). Start your fire long before you want to eat! This is a basic recipe and can be customized to your liking; try adding buffalo chicken, bacon, jalapeños, or bell pepper.
