Our Bridge Side family is heartbroken this week as we say goodbye to Noonie. 💔

My dad’s brother and owner of the Dodie’s Bug, and Bridge Side’s #1 trawler for more than 30 years, Noonie helped keep our bait tanks full and put shrimp on so many family tables. If you’ve fished this area over the past three decades, chances are you supported his business and had his live shrimp on the end of your line.

It always amazed me to watch him bring the Dodie’s Bug into the marina to unload. The way he handled that boat was truly a talent, and he always had a crowd watching. He made something that took so much skill look effortless, and I’ll always treasure those memories.

He worked hard, played hard, and was always making someone laugh. He was such a big part of our family and the Bridge Side so many of you know and love.

It still doesn’t seem real that he’s gone. We will miss seeing him and all the laughs.

We love you, Noonie, and we will miss you more than words can say. Thank you for a lifetime of hard work, laughter, and memories. ❤️
