Motel Del Rogue Welcome to the new page for the one and only Motel Del Rogue! The rooms are clean and cozy. We welcome families and pets.

The Motel Del Rogue is located just south of Grants Pass, Oregon, on the banks of the federally designated "Wild and Scenic" Rogue River. We have 15 units in a variety of configurations ranging from single, one-bed rooms, to two and three-room suites. Most of the rooms have kitchens and ten of them have private decks overlooking the river. Some of the rooms (soon to be all) now have high-speed, wi

reless internet access. The motel, in operation since the 1930's, has gone through some changes but retains its rustic charm. The grounds are lovely with lawn areas and gardens, and fruit, nut, pine, redwood, cedar, oak, and alder trees. There are picnic areas and barbecues for your use. You don't have to go anywhere to enjoy your stay at The Motel Del Rogue. Many of our guests come for a week or two just to relax. We have guests who have made this motel their destination vacation spot for as many as 30 years! We charge a nominal fee for pets and ask that they be flea-free, up-to-date on vaccinations, and under control of the owner at all times. Our goal is to provide you with comfort and quiet. Should you want for anything before or during your stay, please feel free to ask. We will help in any way we can. For those of you who have stayed here before, you know we are a hidden gem! We are so sad to share that we lost our favorite guy today - Philibuster. He was a staple at the Motel Del Rogue for many years (at least 12). Whether napping in the parking lot or on top of cars, sneaking into rooms, or sleeping with guests, he was a cat to remember. When a victim of the Almeda fire stayed at the motel for 3 months, Buster adopted her and stayed with her most nights. She had lost her cats in the fire and his company meant the world to her. He was also a great mom to our newest stray kitten, Reckon.

We hope you remember Phil as fondly as we do and can share some of your memories of him. A true icon, he will be dearly missed.

Black Friday at the Motel Del Rogue looks a little different! We were lucky to capture this video from our deck of a bald eagle chasing a loon in the river. It lasted about 20 minutes until the eagle finally gave up and the loon can live another day. Grateful to have a such a beautiful spot on the river where we can witness this amazing show of nature.
