Grand Caverns was discovered in 1804 by Bernard (Barnette) Weyer while trying to retrieve one of his  hunting traps.  Weyer's Cave opened for tours in 1806, making Grand Caverns the oldest continually operating show cave in the United States.

Thanks folks for helping us help our community! We couldn't do this without your support

Misty Mountain Camp Resort held its ninth music festival Sunday. The proceeds from the event went to the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.

All we can say is, Thank you. Thanks to Blue Mountain Brewery, High Peak Sportswear, Valley Subaru, The Sound Live, all the staff and family at Misty Mountain Camp Resort, our lovely vendors, Blue Ridge Area Food Bank, all the amazing performers and bands and most of all, you! Without your love for music, community and our small festival we couldn't do it. There are too many to thank but if you took part in Misty Mountain Music Festival 9 we love ya!
