Abbie + Cordin, straight out of a romantasy novel. 🥹📖

I knew Abbie and I were going to get along the second we started talking about our mutual obsession with romance fantasy books. So naturally, when we were planning their engagement session, Laurel Hall was a no-brainer.

Because what BookTok girlie doesn’t want to feel like the main character in her own love story?!

The architecture, the romantic atmosphere, the whole fairytale feeling. It was giving romance novel cover in the best possible way.

Little did we know, their actual wedding story would come with a plot twist of its own. But that’s a story for another post. 🤍

Indiana fall is just getting started. 🍂

The leaves are finally starting to change around Indy, and the next 2–3 weeks should bring some of the prettiest fall color of the year!

From Taylor Swift sing-alongs and a house full of bridesmaids (plus three very important pups) to one heck of a dance floor. Megan and Logan’s wedding day was SO much fun. 🥂

The guys started their morning at the Omni Severin in downtown Indy while the girls got ready at home, which felt more like a sleepover with your best friends than wedding prep.

A gorgeous outdoor ceremony at Coxhall Gardens, golden-hour portraits, and a stunning reception at the Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion followed. And let me tell you, this crowd knew how to PARTY.

So much love, so much laughter, and the kind of wedding you wish you could do all over again. 🤍

Lily, the fall colors, and that RED HAIR. Are you kidding me?! 🍂🤎

We packed so much variety into Lily’s senior session, from cute fall outfits to golden hour portraits, and even snuck in a few photos with her boyfriend, Dominick!

One of my favorite things about senior sessions is getting to incorporate the people, places, and little details that make this season of life special. And honestly, I’m never going to say no to a few cute couples photos!

Proof that a small wedding can still make a pretty grand statement. 🥹

Lucas & Lexi chose an intimate courthouse ceremony, and honestly, the Indiana Statehouse might be one of the prettiest places to say “I do.”

Marble staircases, stained glass, ridiculously beautiful architecture, and two people who just got married. What more could you ask for?

I love a big wedding day, but there’s something so special about stripping away all the extras and making the day about exactly what matters. And smaller celebrations certainly don’t mean you have to sacrifice beautiful wedding portraits.

Tomorrow is WEDDING DAY for Madison + Shea 🤍

And this one feels extra special to me. I’ve known Maddi for TEN years. I took her senior photos, she’s modeled for so many of my creative shoots over the years, I photographed these insanely classy engagement photos… and tomorrow I get to photograph her WEDDING. 🥹

One of the coolest parts of doing this for as long as I have is getting to watch people grow up through my camera. Seniors become brides. Couples become families. Families come back with new babies. Getting trusted with one milestone is an honor, but getting trusted with them over and over through different seasons of life means more to me than I can put into words.

There’s always a little extra pressure when a friend trusts you to photograph their family. 🥹 Especially when you know firsthand just how amazing the humans in front of your camera are, you want to do them justice.

The Goo family 🤍 John + Caryn are truly salt-of-the-earth people, and they’ve raised the sweetest, most fun kids with such big hearts. Maddie, Lincoln, Emmy, and of course the furry family member, Goose 🐶

This whole crew is just GOOD people, and getting to capture them together was such a treat.

And YES, there’s still time for fall family photos! 🍂 I still have a handful of dates left on my calendar. Message me to snag one!

Senior guys, I promise it doesn’t have to be awkward. 😂

My job isn’t just to take a good photo. It’s to make you comfortable enough that the good photos happen naturally.

And judging by that first photo… I think we got there. 🤌🏼

Owen made this session WAY too easy. We kept it relaxed, incorporated baseball, wandered around finding cool spots, and somewhere in between got a whole gallery that actually feels like him without his mom having to say “smile for real” 100 times.
