Our team here at Grotonwood wants to extend our deepest gratitude to the Neeb Family Foundation, which gave us a grant for FIVE WaterWheels floating beach wheelchairs! This amazing adaptive equipment allows wheelchair users and other people with limited mobility to go swimming. WaterWheels roll smoothly over sand and float in the water. You can see some images here of our adult campers having a blast in them.

Since its inception, the Neeb Family Foundation has donated over $6,000,000 in support of Christian education and human care. We are honored to be among the many organizations blessed by their incredible legacy of generosity.

We are especially grateful to John Neeb, Vice President & Secretary of the Neeb Family Foundation, who reached out to us and shared the NFF's desire to support Grotonwood through this generous grant. John, thank you for helping make this incredible gift possible!

We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to SmileMass, who have lent us two floating wheelchairs for the first two weeks of camp for the past six summers. Your continued support has played a vital role in making the water accessible and enjoyable for our campers, long before we had WaterWheels of our own.

Together, these partnerships have helped make inclusive recreation a reality at Grotonwood and have given our campers more opportunities to experience the joy of the waterfront. We are incredibly grateful for the generosity

We are so honored and grateful to the Sea Tow Foundation (Sea Tow Foundation ) for welcoming us into their Life Jacket Loaner Program 🙌. Through this incredible grant, we've been awarded 57 life jackets (PFDs) to share with our community — because every adventure is better when everyone is safe 🧡

We can't wait to put these to good use and keep making meaningful memories in the water. Thank you, Sea Tow Foundation, for investing in the safety and joy of all the boaters on Lost Lake 🌊

They showed up early and stayed late. They led the songs, dried the tears, told the stories, and pointed campers toward something greater than themselves 🌲

This summer, our staff gave everything — and then some. From the waterfront to the climbing tower, from the dining hall to the late-night cabin chats, every corner of Grotonwood was filled with their love, their laughter, and their faith 💛

To every counselor, director, specialist, and support staff member who made summer 2026 what it was: *thank you.* You are seen, you are celebrated, and you are so deeply appreciated. We are better because of you 🙏
