What a wonderful time of year to visit Yosemite National Park. Tioga Pass and Glacier Point Roads opened on 15 May! The waterfalls are so amazing and beautiful. We would love the opportunity to host you at our beautiful Airbnb cabin called Groveland Getaway. We are located in a lovely private gated mountain community called Pine Mountain Lake in Groveland, California, only 25 miles to the Hwy 120 Big Oak Flat entrance to Yosemite National Park. Groveland is such a cute mountain town with shopping and the fabulous Iron Door Saloon. It is the oldest operating saloon in California. So much history on the walls. Today's post is about friendship. I have some dear friends who own a miniature horse ranch in Jamestown, CA. Their little horses have brought me so many smiles over the years. I recently let my friends stay at Groveland Getaway for her birthday. We have 73 five star reviews on our Airbnb website. They mean so much to us, but this old school letter sent by our friends now tops those reviews. It is so special and heartfelt that I had to post it. So happy that we could return the smiles!❤️

Fall and winter are a beautiful time to visit Yosemite—and to stay at our cozy Groveland Getaway.

When staying at Groveland Getaway you can treat yourself to dinner and drinks at Firefall Ranch. It is so beautiful there. The views, the food, and the service are amazing. They even have horseback riding and trail rides. They even have wonderful Lavender Lemon Drop Vodka Martinis!

The Iron Door Saloon is one of my favorite places to visit when I stay at Groveland Getaway. It is such a fun place and so much history. It is the oldest operating Saloon in California. You can wear your western attire here with your western jackets, boots, and cowboy/cowgirl hats. Family friendly with great food and drinks! You can try your hand at making a dollar bill stick to the ceiling. So much fun!😊

The Historical Iron Door Saloon and Grill is a family friendly atmosphere with great food and friendly service. Come check out our live music, karaoke night, or just the historic artifacts and photos!

Fall is such a wonderful time to visit Yosemite. The beautiful Aspen, Dogwood, Oak, and Maple trees are on full display. These pictures were taken on 25 Oct 25. Gorgeous pictures and credit is given to the awesome photographers. Now is a great time to visit Groveland Getaway, our amazing Airbnb cabin located in Pine Mountain Lake, a beautiful private gated mountain community. The off season rates are really low right now. Only $150 on week nights and $175 on weekends. The cabin is big enough for 2 families to share. The cabin is located only 25 miles from the west gate, Big Oak Flat, Hwy 120 entrance to Yosemite National Park. With the government shut down, there are no rangers at the toll booths so you won't have to pay the $35 per car entrance fee. Don't miss out on this great opportunity to visit beautiful Yosemite in the fall!

What a great time to visit Yosemite National Park! The weather is perfect with no reservations required and no crowds. There is so much to see and enjoy. The Tioga Pass road to Olmsted Point and Tenaya Lake is still open along with Glacier Point Road. These roads are closed 6 months out of the year for snow so don't miss out on your chance to see some incredible beauty this year.

The Ahwahnee Hotel is a great place to sit outside with a glass of wine and enjoy the beautiful closeup view of Half Dome. Stop and marvel at the beauty of peaceful Fern Spring. The sheer cliffs of El Capitan are absolutely stunning. Tunnel View, Washburn Point and Glacier Point are so amazing. You can also hike to beautiful Taft Point and then end your day with gorgeous sunset views from Washburn and Glacier Points.

Groveland Getaway now has end of season lower prices. Fall is coming to Yosemite and the beautiful Aspen trees are a site to behold. Don't miss out on this great opportunity to stay in a beautiful Airbnb in the peaceful private gated community of Pine Mountain Lake!

Now is the perfect time to stay at Groveland Getaway and visit Yosemite National Park. The weather is beautiful and no reservations are required after 1 Sep. There are no crowds and the beauty, peace, and serenity of nature surrounds you. We have lowered our weekend rates as we move toward Fall. These amazing pictures are from my stay last week. The pictures below are of Fern Spring, Olmsted Point, Tenaya Lake, Rush Creek Spa, Taft Point, Washburn Point, and Glacier Point. Amazing views!
