Thinking about moving to Orange Beach or Gulf Shores? 🌴
Let me ask you something.
Would you still want to live at the beach if you knew a hurricane could be headed your way?
That's a question we get from people considering a move to the Alabama Gulf Coast, and it's a fair one.
We've lived through some pretty memorable hurricanes, including Ivan and Sally.
And I'll tell you something.
After all these years, Mother Nature can still surprise you.
We documented what happened as a hurricane approached our area, from preparing our properties and watching the forecasts to making the decision to leave our beachfront condo and seeing what happened afterward.
One thing we've learned is that no two storms are alike.
And if you're thinking about buying a home, investing in a condo, or retiring in Orange Beach or Gulf Shores, this is something you really need to think about.
We love living on the Gulf Coast, but we're certainly not going to pretend hurricanes aren't a serious part of coastal life.

Here's my question for you:
Would hurricanes make you think twice about moving to the Alabama Gulf Coast, or is living near the beach worth dealing with the possibility?
