Just a few pics from my last trip to the cottage. I had replaced the outdoor tub faucet to one that is made for outdoor use and freezing temps. I repaired the gas grill that has been out of order for a year. It took me several hours to figure out how to replace a starter and get all the flame tubes to come on, but I got it. To celebrate I grilled the best hamburgers ever.

A reason to be thankful today My porch bathtub sprung a leak during a night of freezing temps a couple weeks ago I am in town now and repairing it was on my to do list
I worked on it a couple hours and finally gave up I did enough trouble shooting to rule out a couple of possible problems.

I called a plumber to take over for me as i thought he might have parts needed for repair Three guys come and just look at it with water turned on and see it leaking at the base and decided I needed a new faucet and they said charge $400 to install it
Well I am frugal and like to figure out ways to fix things I went to Hoods where I bought it from to get the name of manufacture of it They didn’t sell them anymore I showed him my picture and he said I have something that might help He brought me the box their display faucet came in The box had the instruction sheet and the base plate that the water lines connect to
So me and my guest staying at the Cottage worked a couple hours and we exchanged a couple parts out and added a rubber ring and we fixed it! That saved a minimum of $800 for buying a new stand alone floor mount faucet and the labor I love happy endings after working so hard and not giving up We did it!!! My wonderful guest made it happen without him I am afraid my female strength would not have been enough to unscrew things and tighten them The connections were hard to access

Both of our vacation rentals. Gulf Breeze Depot has the pool. The Gulf Breeze Cottage has the gulf view and easy walk to beach. They are on the same block so easy set up to rent for large families. Just walk back and forth with no effort
