🌊🎣 Exciting News for Anglers! 🎣🌊

The sockeye salmon run is back in full swing on the Chilkoot side! The Alaska Department of Fish and Game has officially reopened sports fishing for sockeye in Chilkoot River and Chilkoot Lake with bag and possession limits restored to six fish.

With over 50,000 sockeye already counted and more on the way, now is the perfect time to grab your gear and head toward the sea. Don't miss out on this prime fishing season while the sockeye are running thick!

Pack your rods, tell your friends, and make your way to Haines. Happy fishing! 🐟🎉
