After the Storm 🌿

Thankfully, we were able to keep our doors open and host locals who lost power during last night’s storm. ❤️

If you’re still without power, we do have local rates available tonight as well. Give us a call or text at 870-853-7386 if you need a cool, comfortable place to rent for the night.

We had a tree come down and a little brush to clean up this morning, but she’s already starting to take shape again!

And while we’re cleaning up, here’s a little peek at a new area coming to the May Branch Inn—designed to make our guests’ stays even better, whether you’re passing through for the night, staying for a week, or calling us home for a month.

Yesterday while we were cleaning rooms at the May Branch Inn, we received the sweetest surprise from someone who booked with us. 💐 It completely caught us off guard in the best way!

We truly have the best past, present, and future guests. Your kindness and thoughtfulness mean more than you know, and this beautiful surprise arrangement from Yours & Vine was a day maker!

Owning a small business is made so much sweeter because of people like you.

We had a busy week and weekend at the May Branch Inn! Thank you to everyone who came to town and chose to stay with us. One of our favorite parts of this journey is getting to know our guests and making those small-town connections. We truly appreciate your support and look forward to welcoming you back the next time you’re in town!

This weekend we had our own little staycation at the May Branch Inn and we called it a research project. 😊

There’s no better way to see things than through a guest’s eyes. We found a few small things that would have made our stay even better, so we’ve already put those in motion! Every room now has a luggage rack, and we’re adding hanging space in our double queen rooms along with entryway hooks in every room.

The best part? Everything else felt just right.

We slept until 9:30 (which never happens), enjoyed coffee in bed, then had another cup out to the back patio and listen to the birds. It reminded us that sometimes the little things and special touches are what make a stay memorable…even in a small town.

We’re always looking for ways to make the May Branch Inn even better, and sometimes that means checking in ourselves. We’d happily stay here again…next time we’re bringing the kids. ❤️
