A crazy crazy wind from storms in the area took down our 70 plus year old locust tree! Thankfully the wind was from the west and the tree didn't fall on the barn. Carter tree service will be in charge of cleanup Friday morning.

It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of our sweet Chinese swan goose Pete 😔 many of our guests will remember Pete on the pond and hearing his honks calling to the Canadian geese. He made his home first with my Mom 20 plus years ago as he "just appeared " one day on the pond! He touched so many in the neighborhood who would watch out for him as he aged. We will all miss him but are so very thankful for having the privilege to care for him.

After enjoying a wonderful Thanksgiving meal it's time to turn our Pigeon Creek B&B into a mini winter wonderland! We are all aglow and hope all who drive by enjoy the sights and lights 🎄very special thanks to our granddaughter Haley for all her dedication to her Poppy and the decorating ♥️
