Spring is finally doing its thing 🌈

Longer days, better views, and the perfect time for a Berkshires getaway. We’re doing some spring cleaning and updates at the inn! Including refinishing the floors in the mud room, kitchen and billiards room.
Fresh season, fresh space.

Spring is officially here… even if winter didn’t get the memo. Easter’s up, house guide in the works, and you can still ski at Jiminy. Best of both seasons.

It just kept snowing… and now we’re fully inside a snow globe ❄️

Perfect timing for Presidents’ Week. The hot tub has been unreal in the falling snow, heated mats are keeping things clear, and we gave the bathrooms a little glow up with new artwork and upgraded hotel-style toiletries.

Clean. Cozy. Ready.

Sometimes it’s the little stuff.
New bedding. Smoke coming out of the chimney. A handwritten “67” left behind. New chairs and fresh felt on them for the dining table.
And sometimes it’s the bigger upgrades, like heated mats from the kitchen to the hot tub so winter nights won’t freeze you (as much).

This place has history. It’s unique on purpose.
Not a copy-and-paste white modern farm house Airbnb. Just a real, old inn that keeps getting better.

Love is in the air ❤️

Valentine’s Day touches are up at the Hancock Village Inn.
The holiday tree is decorated.
The sunroom has a new layout with antique photos above each window.
A Jiminy Peak trail sign is now up below the skis for a true local feel. And we are so thankful for you, every weekend is booked until St. Patrick’s Day Weekend!

Behind the scenes, we’ve been busy too.
Billiards table pockets are fixed and ready for game nights.
We’re piloting full size toiletries as part of our ongoing push to be more sustainable. We also added a new hot tub cover that’s lighter, more insulating, and more efficient.

Sustainability remains a top priority here at the inn.

One of the best parts of being hands on owners is getting to enjoy the area the same way our guests do. After a full day of work, we got in a couple of runs at Jiminy Peak and wrapped up the night with dinner at , one of our favorite local spots just 15 minutes away.

2025 Hancock Village Inn | Year in Review

Thank you for making 2025 our best year yet. We were proud to host over 630 guests across 59 reservations, filling more than 130 nights, and we are incredibly grateful to be ranked among the top 10% of highly rated Airbnbs.

This year brought some exciting improvements to the Inn. We completed full home insulation, renovated Bathrooms 4 and 5, added new outdoor furniture and egg chairs, and wrapped up a stunning restoration of the original living room ceiling, one of our favorite upgrades yet.

We also loved becoming more connected with our local community. We partnered with Jiminy Peak to offer an exclusive guest discount and worked alongside The Country Store and Dave’s Market. And of course, our guests made it clear where they love to eat—Norte Azul , The Gnome Bistro and Bluebirds & Co. remain top favorites and personal favorites of ours as well.

Beyond the Inn itself, we’re especially proud that it’s projected this home generated nearly $500,000 in economic impact for the local community through guest spending, partnerships, and local support in the past year!

We can’t thank our guests, neighbors, and community partners enough for making this year so special. We’re excited to see what 2026 brings! ✨

Santa visited the Hancock Village Inn to check out our Christmas decorations and he gave them a big seal of approval! 🎅🌲 With snow on the ground and the tree sparkling, we are ready for the holiday season!

A little history brought back to life. Our living room ceiling went from failing paneling to beautifully restored 200-year-old beams, and we couldn’t be happier with the stunning transformation! Photos 1–5 are the final look, 6–10 the journey, 11 is the game room and 12-14 our first snowfall of the season. Winter at the Inn is on its way and we have super exciting news about skiing. P.S. It might be an exclusive discount with Jiminy Peak when you stay at the Hancock Village Inn.

Thank you so much! We’ve been nearly fully booked every weekend from May through November and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Here’s what’s new at the Hancock Village Inn ✨

🛁 The downstairs full bathroom just got a beautiful remodel: brand new floors, walls, and a sleek new shower.
🐰 A bunny made a surprise appearance in the yard and looked right at home. Our sign rings true! On a short visit to the inn last week, I spotted both a bunny and a deer enjoying the peaceful grounds.
🧊 Our fridge unexpectedly broke, but we had a new one installed and running within two days, complete with a fresh new picture above it.
🏞️The peaceful stream across the road is still green and serene.
🌿 And the most exciting update: the house is being fully insulated. This supports our commitment to sustainability and will help lower the energy needed for heating and cooling!
