This is Good-bye. It has been an honor to serve you, to provide you with a venue to enjoy clothing optional camping, swimming, hot-tubbing, petanque and more with all the wonderful campers we have met throughout our journey. Now it is time to retire,close the gate and wish you all new and happy adventures throughout your lifetime to come. I hope you take home with you many happy memories of times you have spent here at Berkshire Vista, and find new and happy adventures as you go on with your lives. Thank you for allowing me and Dan to share those good times with you. I will be an advocate or n**e recreation forever, and I urge each of you to do the same. DAY VISITORS WELCOME IN 2022 POLICY STATEMENT
We Will Be Open To Day Visitors Friday, Saturday, Sunday, And Holiday Mondays Starting Friday, May 20 For The First Time Since Covid-19.
Day Visitors, Like Our Members And Staff, Must Show Proof Of Vaccination On Their First Visit. We Ask You To Arrive Between 9 AM And 2 PM, Go To The Red Farmhouse To Check-In Before Your Visit, And To Depart By 7 PM. Discount allowed for AANR, Naturist and INF Current Membership, 20%, $5 Per Person. You Can Join AANR At Check-In To Support AANR, Get The Discount, And Plan To Visit Frequently. AANR Membership Is $60 Per Person, $100 per Couple.
We Are Open For Campers, Tenters, And Lodgers By Prepaid Reservation Starting May 1, For A Two Nite Minimum Stay. Go Online To Our Website Anytime To Make Camping Reservations. The Fees For Camping Include Daily Admission. (No Added Day Fee.)
The Main Pool Will Not Be Ready For The First Two Weeks, But There Will Be At Least One Hot Tub And The Sauna Ready May 1.

The 2022 Summer Season will open on May 1, and unfortunately it will be our final season, we will close our doors forever on Columbus Day, October 10, 2022, at noon. Please join us for a final season to celebrate the joy of camping naturally. Berkshire Vista Resort Inc. April 1, 2022

Dear Members,
Welcome back! Our Official Opening Day will be May 1, but if our water test results are back on time and clean(no bacteria), we will open the last Friday in April, April 29. This will be a Memorial Season, Honoring owner Dan Bookstein. One of his final wishes was to offer to you our members, a final season to enjoy clothing optional camping at Berkshire Vista, even though he is not here. There will be a Memorial Service Remembering Dan on Saturday May 14, at the side of the Pond, weather permitting, or in the Clubhouse, with a complimentary luncheon to follow. You are invited to attend, and I hope to see you there, and of course at camp all season long!
As the now sole owner and stockholder of Berkshire Vista, I am acutely aware that age 80, I cannot continue to operate BVR indefinitely. I am experiencing difficulty making decisions, memory loss, and missing deadlines and due dates, critical to operating BVR successfully. It is time for me to retire, and the 2022 Summer Season will be our final season, ending on Columbus Day, 12 noon, October 10, 2022.
I am truly sorry that it will inconvenience you, but Dan and I have each given you nearly 30 years, 1994 – 2022, of our lives. It is time for me to retire. By giving you this advance notice, we hope to avoid the difficulty some of you experienced when Juniper Woods closed abruptly last April.
Please return for one last season of Good Food, Good Fun, Good Music and Good Times! There will be no Winter Storage this year, and you will need to remove your trailer no later than October 10. Your bill for the Season Site and Membership is enclosed, as usual. If you have already paid, Thank you.

Good News! We Can Finally Start Opening Up Our Amenities To Our Seasonal Members, And Our Campers, Tenters And Lodgers. Our First DJ Dance Of The Season Will Be Tomorrow Night, Saturday, 8:30 To 11:30 Pm, In The Clubhouse With Kris And Jim.

All Members, Guests And Staff Must Have Been Vacccinated, Or Have A Negative Covid Test Within 72 Hours Of Their Visit, And If They Are Not Vaccinated, But Only Have A Negative Covid Test, They Must Wear A Mask When In The Presence Of Other People On The Grounds, And Limit Their Presence To The Outdoors Only, & Not Be In The Clubhouse Or Hot Tubs.
Over The Next Few Weeks, We Will Begin Opening The Hot Tubs, One At A Time, And The Pool Bar For Saturday And Sunday Noon Till 3pm By Mid-June.

Good News, we are opening Friday, April 30 to our Members with Season Sites,and Saturday May 1 to Campers and Tenters with prepaid reservations. And now you can make your reservations online, 24 hours a day. Just log in to BerkshireVista.com and go to Fees, scroll down to Make a Reservation, and it will take you to our Booking engine, where you can pick out a site, reserve it, and get a confirmation by email. Before you come to our gate, make sure you have a reservation, or a Season site, bring your COVID Vaccination card, or proof of a COVID negative Test within 3 days of arrival, and ring the buzzer at the gate. Wear a mask, and plan to practise social distancing. Spend summer in the Berkshires with us.
