Thanks to David Davidson who washed (not just sprayed) the B & B this week and he sealed some facade ornamentation that couldn’t be seen from the ground. We are dedicated to maintaining this building under our stewardship and passing it along better than when we began.

This Thursday October 2, 2025 we are acknowledging the 150 year existence of 201 North Main. We have operated Main Street Bed and Breakfast for 25 years. Come and see what we have done. We are excited to share our most recent addition. Solar Panels!

We planted our flowers today. Lots of merchants preparing to open on Monday. We will do an additional clean tomorrow and ready for business Monday. Hope those who had to cancel will be able to visit.

Thanks to John and Julie Rolson, they kindly loaned us three tables and some chairs now on Center Street next to our building. I would like to contribute their use to the public. If you want to take out from downtown and stay downtown be our guest. Please observe social distancing.

Greetings to all Friends,
We closed our calendar on March 15 and it is reopened for dates on and after May 4.
During isolation we were able to accomplish the minor rehab that was necessary ( thanks to River City Restoration). I can’t think of any surface in our rooms that hasn’t been cleaned, washed, shampooed, vacuumed or any other appropriate verb done to it.
We are very conscious of Social Distancing. We have three guest rooms only two guests per room. The guest entrance is separate from our entrance. All check in is individual at the curb and can be made without direct contact. There are no common areas other then building and room access. We have a table for two outside with the best restaurants in town anxious to arrange for pickup or delivery. Guest rooms are equipped with mini fridge and stocked with bottled water, juice, and yogurt. The remainder of your Continental Breakfast will be placed in your room prior to arrival. Of course full size coffee maker and 100% Colombian coffee.
