๐๐ฆ Campground Tip from Tina! ๐ฆ๐
With all the rain we've had lately, the mosquitoes have definitely been making themselves at home around the campground!
As many of you know, I'm very fair-skinned, and mosquito bites seem to love me. A single bite can leave large welts on my neck, arms, ears, and just about anywhere they can find. Over the years, I've tried all kinds of products, but I wanted to share something that has worked surprisingly well for me.
I've been using patchouli essential oil, and for me, it has made a huge difference. I personally use it full strength, and when I do, I rarely get bitten.
โ ๏ธ A friendly word of caution: Everyone's skin is different, and what works for me may not work for someone else. Essential oils can be irritating for some people, so please do a patch test first and use caution, especially when applying any oil directly to your skin.
This isn't a paid endorsementโjust one camper's tip that has helped me enjoy more evenings around the fire without constantly swatting mosquitoes!
If you have any favorite bug-repelling tricks, feel free to share them in the comments. We can all help each other enjoy a more comfortable camping season.
Happy Camping! โค๏ธ๐๏ธ
