Amy here. Do I have a favorite site? I have two: P01 and P21.

I prefer pull-throughs. Because Craig and I are that couple that entertains the whole campground trying to back in.

P01 sits at the end of the first row with a beautiful view of the lake & is close to the Welcome Center. P21 has a more mature tree we fought hard during construction to keep healthy. Most of the trees on this property were very young pines, replanted after the last logging. Our campground map accurately shows the placement of our shade trees.

Thank you, Pastor John! Every Sunday morning from 8–8:15am, Memorial Day through Labor Day, Pastor John leads a short devotional right here at Standing Pines. Opening prayer, a song, a message, closing prayer.

Guests and local community members are always welcome. This is a fantastic and encouraging way to start a summer Sunday morning!

Wow! Jacob Lynn was in Hartsville last evening photographing deer when out of the blue this curious bobcat shows up and poses for him! Like he said, a once in a lifetime shot! What a beautiful animal.

Amy here. I took these photos walking the campground as the sun went down last night. And I thought: we actually did it. We turned logging land into a place our guests describe as "our new favorite," "best bathrooms ever," "so much to do," and "so thoughtful."

We are so grateful for this community.

Right now we're this close to two milestones: 100 Google reviews (we're at 95) and 5,000 Facebook followers (4,924 today). Both matter more than you might think.

Reviews help families who've never heard of Standing Pines find us when they're searching for a safe, welcoming campground. I've lost count of how many guests told me they came specifically because of what people wrote in the reviews. Followers help our posts reach new families so they can find us and start learning more.

Amy here. While I love many places here at our campground, there's something about this little goldfish feeding pond that fascinates me. It's fun to watch the fish play. The fountain is so relaxing. And the new landscaping adds so much color, with the more mature pines forming the backdrop for this brand new space.
