GREAT NEWS! We will be reopening NC12, with a one-lane detour at the Pea Island Visitor Center, at 4 p.m. TODAY. Emergency ferry service between Rodanthe and Stumpy Point will continue today and tonight, with the final runs from each side at 8 a.m. Friday.

He’s almost like a pet at this point with his morning visits. Coffee with Bambi’s dad is becoming a thing, and I’m not complaining.

Great day to be offshore with a nice variety of fish. Red snapper, mahi, amberjack, and a few shark. Looks like a few days of wind and hopefully back at it Tuesday.
