I just wanted to put out some information regarding the work on highway 27. The road closure portion of the work is complete and the road crews are now working on resurfacing highway 27 from Boylan Rd to W. Carol Dr. During the next few weeks, if you are coming our way from the south you can come into Hayward on highway 63, turn south onto 27 and should be able to get to us with very little construction chaos (at some point it will be single lane as pave from W. Carol Dr. south in front of our establishment).

The other route, coming through Stone Lake on 70 and North on 27, will run you through portions that may have single closures.

We had a pretty slow Labor Day weekend, but we are picking up for the rest of September. I'll try to keep things updated here as the road construction changes.

People stay with us for a lot of reasons; vacation, family visits, funerals, work, etc. We see a lot of different cars and trucks, work vehicles, boats, UTVs but this is the first time we've had something like this in our parking area. When the gentleman pulled in, our son came to us in the backyard and said "there's a big a** truck and he's wondering where to park it." 😂
