Resorting in the Off Season 101: “Lawn & Order” 🍂❄️

This lesson started in early October and focused on recovering and winterizing our grounds! 👇🏻

💧 Stopping the Water Flow: Clearing all irrigation lines with our amazing partner, MBIS, so we know what’s NOT running before Jack Frost moves in.

🌱 Plant Parenting: Giving our greenery a little extra TLC and winter protection with our friends at Winter Greenhouse.

🚜 Lawn Rehab: Giving those thin and tired patches a little tough love by roughing up the bare spots, spreading fresh seed, and tucking everything in under a cozy blanket of straw.

🍁 Winter Nutrition: Spreading winter fertilizer across the entire property to help set lawns up for a healthy comeback next season.

And just like that, another off-season lesson in the books! 📚

🏐 Resorting 101: Supporting Our Staff (even during the ‘off-season’)! 🎉

Sometimes the most important lesson happens outside of work! 💙

The lesson…show up, cheer loud, and celebrate the people who make our team so special! 🙌

We took a break from the daily “off-season” to-do lists to head to the volleyball court and cheer on some of our amazing staff — and they gave us something BIG to celebrate… CONFERENCE CHAMPS! 🏆🏐 Oh yea! 🏐

Congrats Gracie (No. 2), Ava (No. 4), Brenna (No. 6), AND the ENTIRE Winter Warrior Volleyball Team at the Winter School District - you guys rocked it last night!

Because (truly) at the end of the day, it’s about more than work. It’s about supporting each other, celebrating wins (big and small!), and making time for the moments that matter most. ❤️

Work will always be there tomorrow (and it is…trust me!). These are the moments worth showing up for! 🥹👏

We’re all looking forward to seeing you ladies crush it at regionals! 🏐

RESORTING 101: Pulling Docks

Yep, yesterday was dock day! Happens every fall in preparation for the winter season. The docks serve as ‘snow fences’ - yes we WILL have snow - in the winter ❄️.

✅ Remove electrical
✅ Pull out augers
✅ Remove deck boards
✅ Raise docks to regular height
✅ Lift legs
✅ Remove cotter keys
✅ Remove ramps
✅ Pull boardwalks and position as snow fence
✅ Pull docks on shore and lower legs

🗣️Shout out to our mighty 2026 Dock Crew: Randy, Ross, Luke, Shiloh, Kris, and Lacy (plus a very good photographer)! 🙌🏼

Y’all ask what we do during the ‘shoulder season’ so we’re happy to bring you our ‘Resorting 101” course! 😜 Stay tuned for our next class!
