North Star Camp North Star Camp for Boys is a premiere traditional residential camp located in the Northwoods of Wisconsin.

We offer four or eight-week sessions with diverse programming including adventure, athletics, creative arts and water sports. North Star Camp is a residential boys camp in Northern Wisconsin. With a diverse program, we've been creating memorable summers since 1945. North Star has a great mix of athletics, waters sports, adventure and arts programming as well as a great wilderness trips program.

This week, Four Star Fellowship brought 80+ youth and mentors from Chicago to North Star for a week of summer camp — new friends, new activities, and new adventures outside their comfort zone.

They came to the Northwoods for a jam-packed week of fun: camp favorites like climbing, fishing, pickleball, archery, and riflery, along with Capture The Flag, an amazing Skit Show, late night DJ dance parties, and day trips to the Namekagon River and Copper Falls. A week’s worth of core memories and strong friendships.

On the final night, we had a Closing Campfire at the Council Ring. It’s always a special culmination of the week, but this year was extra special. During an emotional Keylog Ceremony, we honored Ron Stewart Jr. who was the first-ever Four Star Fellow to work a full North Star summer as a cabin counselor.

Ron’s leadership, work ethic, and heart will inspire many Chicago youth for years to come. So many Four Star Fellows talked about how North Star is their second home. Following Ron’s example, we can’t wait to welcome more Four Star Fellows home for a full summer in the future.
