Oktoberfest has been another success for the businesses here in Helen this year with visitors from all over the country enjoying the celebration. There is a vast selection of accommodations to choose from anytime you visit.

Now, get ready for the Christmas season. The town is decorated at the beginning of November and ready for the village's annual Christmas tree lighting. The event makes it seem as though you are in the middle of a Norman Rockwell painting with the festive decorations. The local shops and courteous staff are ready to assist you with your selections. The annual Christmas Market starts November 28–29, the same day as the tree lighting, and continues December 5–6, 2026, in the center of town, featuring over 60 vendors.
