Southwick Beach State Park is spacious and popular, known for outstanding swimming and sunning on its long sandy beach. Campers and day-users enjoy picnicking, hiking and games on the playing fields. The park is adjacent to the Lakeview Wildlife Management Area, home to the environmentally-sensitive coastal sand d

unes. Park nature, hiking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails adjoin the wildlife management area and its trail system, which visitors are encouraged to use. Deer hunting is allowed by permit south of the park entrance in season. Please contact the Eastern Lake Ontario Park office at (315) 938-5083 for more hunting information.

We are so excited to announce that we have a new boardwalk connecting the camp loops to the beach area!

This boardwalk features benches, lookout points and interpretive panels along the .37 mile accessible trail🤩

‼️UPDATE #2‼️

We have potable water in D loop, F loop, A/C loop, and at the dumping station and all of those bathhouses are open for use!

We have Beach loop and concession bathrooms open for use but the water is still non-potable in these locations.

‼️UPDATE‼️

Our bathrooms are open for use in the A/C loop, D Loop and F Loop. All F Loop amenities are available, and the dump & fill station are open for use at Southwick Beach.

The beach loop and concession bathrooms are still closed. There are porta potties available at the beach loop bathrooms to use and campers at the beach loop may use any of the open bathhouses as well.

The water is non-potable currently, but we have bottled water available for campers at the toll booth.

📣Attention Campers📣

We are asking that you conserve water as we are currently dealing with a water break within the park. Campers may also fill their water at Westcott Beach State Park prior to coming in to Southwick Beach State Park as another option.
