Southwick Beach State Park is spacious and popular, known for outstanding swimming and sunning on its long sandy beach. Campers and day-users enjoy picnicking, hiking and games on the playing fields. The park is adjacent to the Lakeview Wildlife Management Area, home to the environmentally-sensitive coastal sand d

unes. Park nature, hiking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails adjoin the wildlife management area and its trail system, which visitors are encouraged to use. Deer hunting is allowed by permit south of the park entrance in season. Please contact the Eastern Lake Ontario Park office at (315) 938-5083 for more hunting information.

Happy September🍂

Just because the summer months are officially over, doesn't mean the fun at the beach stops! We've got programs happening through the month and our annual Fall Photo Contest starts today and runs until October 1st.

We'll see you at the beach☀

Our swimming beach will remain OPEN until Labor Day however we have a slightly modified schedule for opening hours.

September 4th 11am-7pm
September 7th CLOSED

All other days will follow normal hours. All days are subject to changed based on water quality. Thank you for your continued patience and support!
