Finally had time to cleanup one flower bed of mass chaos. One down and so many more to go 😕 Chicago Hardy Fig, allium, aster, daffodils and seeded yarrow. Will add a daisy patch in the spring and fill in after we see what makes it through the winter. Devil squirrels were already going after my bulbs 😡

Come Ride the train with Santa! On Saturday, December 5th and Sunday, December 6th, Santa will be on board the Missouri River Runner routes making stops in Hermann, MO.

Board or get off at any of the stops along the Missouri River Runner route. Take your photo with Santa, do crafts, and get a special treat!

Saturday, December 5:
Depart from St. Louis on Train #311, heading West to Kansas City. Arrives in Hermann at 9:45am.

Sunday, December 6:
Depart from Kansas City on Train #318, heading East to St. Louis. Arrives in Hermann at 12:36pm.

Breakfast at the Inn 😋 Today featured buttermilk biscuits, sausage gravy, sweet potato & squash hash and eggs over medium.

Some more work on the Coral Honeysuckle Balcony! Still needs trim painted, but striped and ready to go when the room isn’t booked. New patio lights and our guests can choose the light color (of course, they are set to purple right now) and the cutest little flower solar lights. You may notice the flower box with the little plants - I have three viable starts from the OG Oak Hydrangeas that were removed due to the sewer lateral replacement!!! Now to keep them alive through the winter!
A little more trim work followed by painting on the back porch and then we can start making another amazing little guest space!
