Hello friends, family and followers unfortunately every year Mother Nature likes to remind us who's really in charge around here, and this week it's the mayflies' turn.

Due to a major mayfly hatch, our beach is not swim friendly and will be closed to the public through Sunday, June 7th. We plan to reopen on Monday, June 8th once our team has had a chance to clean things up!

The campground is still open. Only the day use beach is closed.

The good news? Mayflies don't bite, sting, or carry diseases. The bad news? They apparently didn't get the memo about the beautiful weekend we are having.

We appreciate everyone's understanding while we wait out this annual lake tradition. We'll keep you updated if anything changes.

Thank you for your patience, and we'll see you back on the beach soon!
