Hopefully this will stabilize the blinking power that is occurring at the campground. Winds are expected to decrease in the coming hours. Hang in there!

Gusty southwest winds, low relative humidity values and already dry conditions will set the stage for a high fire danger in much of northern Indiana and northwestern Ohio. A Red Flag warning is in effect where the risk is the greatest. An elevated fire danger will exist outside the warning area. Those performing harvest operations should exercise extreme caution as any field fires could quickly spread out of control.

Whether you fly in or drive in we hope to see you tomorrow for the 7th Annual Patriot's Day Fly-In & Exchange Club of Hillsdale County Breakfast at The Hillsdale Municipal Airport.

Breakfast will be served from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., but the event runs until 2 p.m., so you'll have plenty of time to check out all the cool aircraft and vehicles that will be on display.

This handsome guy got out of his cat carrier this morning. He recently had some medical attention for an injured leg. If you happen to see him, please let Dave on site 66 know. You can also contact the office.

A nice opportunity to learn about the 4,800 mile North Country Trail which intersects Hillsdale County on its way north. We've had several hikers stay with us over the years as they get their miles in.
