Day 3 at the Love Mexico Conference in Mérida, Yucatán!

Our morning kicked off with five fantastic speakers who shared valuable insights on making better recommendations for our clients, exploring different destinations, and using AI to work smarter and grow our business. We’re always looking for new ways to improve the experiences we create for our travelers! For lunch, we snuck away to a local restaurant to enjoy some authentic Yucatecan cuisine. The food was delicious, the service was wonderful, and it was the perfect opportunity to experience a little more of the local culture. After lunch, we had an unexpected and fascinating experience right inside the convention center! We had the opportunity to speak with an archaeologist about the natural cenote located within the Centro Internacional de Congresos de Yucatán. Known as Cenote Toh, this natural wonder is connected to an underground water system and offers a glimpse into the incredible natural history of the region. Hearing the archaeologist explain the history of Yucatán and the significance of these natural formations was truly exciting! We then headed back into the convention to meet with even more representatives, brands, and industry partners as we wrapped up the IADWP conference. These connections help us continue discovering new opportunities and experiences to share with our clients.

And then came our final evening!

IADWP prepared something truly special for the grand finale: a glamorous wedding experience at Hacienda San Antonio Hool. We were practically speechless! The way they combined the charm, history, and elegance of a traditional Yucatecan hacienda with modern amenities and stunning wedding details was absolutely incredible. It was the perfect showcase of why Yucatán is such a remarkable destination for weddings and celebrations. What an unforgettable way to close out an amazing conference! From educational sessions and meaningful connections to authentic local cuisine, fascinating history, and breathtaking wedding inspiration, Mérida gave us so many reasons to fall in love with this destination. We’re heading home with new ideas, valuable connections, and plenty of inspiration to help our clients plan their next unforgettable getaway or destination wedding. Thank you, IADWP, for an incredible experience!

Day 2 at the Love Mexico Conference in Mérida!
Another incredible day of learning, connecting, and experiencing everything that makes Merida Mexico such a special destination!
Our day started with four fantastic speakers who shared valuable insights on everything from managing our finances and understanding the next generation of travelers to developing strategies to move our businesses in the right direction. There was so much great information to take back and put into action!
After a wonderful lunch, we spent the afternoon at meet-and-greets with so many amazing companies, including familiar partners we already work with and new connections we’re excited to build. These opportunities help us continue growing our relationships and bringing even more value to our clients.
And just when we thought the day couldn’t get any better, our evening took us to two fantastic venues in Mérida!
Our first stop was Salina, a beautiful historic mansion in the heart of Mérida’s Santa Lucía neighborhood. With its traditional architecture, charming corridors, and central courtyard, it was a wonderful setting to enjoy the evening and appreciate the history and character of the city.
Our second stop was Salón Gallos, a unique creative space located in a former factory in Mérida’s historic center. This one-of-a-kind venue brings together art, cinema, music, and gastronomy, with a restaurant featuring a blend of Yucatecan and Lebanese flavors. What a fantastic place to experience Mérida’s vibrant cultural scene!
From educational sessions and valuable business connections to experiencing the culture and nightlife of Mérida, Day 2 was one to remember!
We are grateful for the opportunity to keep learning, building relationships, and discovering new experiences that we can share with our travelers.

Day 1 at the Love Mexico Conference | Mérida, Mexico!
What an incredible way to kick off our time at the Love Mexico Conference! Our first day was packed with education, new experiences, beautiful venues, and an unforgettable evening of celebration.
We started the morning with registration before heading to our first event: a special Jewish Wedding Certification hosted by Michele Schwartz. After four hours of training, we are proud to officially call ourselves Jewish Wedding Specialists! This was an amazing opportunity to expand our knowledge and learn more about creating meaningful and memorable wedding experiences for our clients.
Of course, we couldn't miss the opportunity to explore our host hotel, Fiesta Americana Mérida, with a site inspection! This beautiful property features 350 rooms and suites, ranging from Superior Rooms and Fiesta Club accommodations to Junior Suites, Master Suites, Governor Suites, and the impressive Presidential Suite. Located along the famous Paseo de Montejo, the hotel combines elegant architecture, comfortable accommodations, dining options, a swimming pool, and a convenient location for exploring Mérida. It's definitely a property worth knowing for travelers looking to experience this beautiful destination.
After a busy day of learning and exploring, it was time to get ready for the Welcome Ceremony hosted by IADWP at the Mérida Convention Center.
And what a night it was! The venue was beautifully decorated, the atmosphere was electric, and everything came together for an incredible welcome celebration. From the delicious food and drinks to the amazing live music by Muziek Grand Band, the evening was full of energy, excitement, and opportunities to connect with fellow wedding professionals from around the world.
Day 1 was everything we hoped for and more! We are excited to continue learning, making connections, discovering new opportunities, and bringing fresh inspiration back to our clients.
This is only the beginning, and we can't wait to see what the rest of the Love Mexico Conference has in store!
