🇺🇸On a solemn day like today, remembering to breathe and appreciate the beauty in the world is therapy.

My mother-in-law was a pastor in suburban Manhattan and lost many members of her congregation.

My best friend from high school’s father was working in the Pentagon.

Our neighbor at the lake was Captain of the Arlington County Police SWAT team at the time, and was integral to the response after it all went down.

Sending love to all of you, and remembering how 911 affected all of us in unique ways.

25 years seems hard to believe. ❤️💙
