Woodland Trails Lodge and Cabin Woodland Trails Lodge and Cabin are upscale country houses located near the St. Croix River, between Cloud or Eau Claire. Also added was a screened porch.

Croix River, between Hinckley MN and Danbury WI, an easy two-hour drive from the Twin Cities, Duluth, St. The Lodge was built in 2003 to be a B & B and upgraded regularly since. It was converted to whole-house rental, in 2020. The Lodge has modern features like soundproofing between rooms, geothermal heating and central air conditioning. Owner Sandra’s tasteful decorating adds to the rustic ambiance. With six bedrooms and 6-1/2 baths, the Lodge is ideal for groups of up to 12 people. At the time, the Cabin had one bedroom, one bath and sat on a crawl space. Before building the the Lodge, the Cabin was moved across the field where a lower, walkout level with two more bedrooms and a bath were added.
