MOST PLACES LET LABOR DAY MONDAY HAPPEN TO THEM.

We booked Jack Willems at 2 PM.

After five straight days, seven live acts and several decisions best left out of the official historical record, Eastbay is giving Labor Day Weekend one final afternoon on the lake.

Jack Willems takes the stage at 2 PM as the final act of our Last Splash of Summer.

This isn’t us declaring summer dead. That would be dramatic, and Wisconsin weather could make us look stupid by Tuesday.

It’s simply one more afternoon to pull up by boat, claim a table, order something cold and listen to live music before everyone reluctantly admits the long weekend has an ending.

If you’ve been with us since Thursday, congratulations—you now qualify as seasonal staff.

If Monday is your first appearance, we’ll still let you in. We’ll judge you quietly, but we’ll let you in.

SUNDAY BEGINS WITH THE LAST BRUNCH OF THE SEASON AND ENDS WITH THE HEADLINERS.

That is not an accident. That is scheduling with purpose.

Our final Sunday Brunch of the season is served from 10 AM–1 PM, giving you one last opportunity to stand in front of the omelet bar and suddenly forget every ingredient you’ve ever enjoyed.

SATURDAY AT EASTBAY IS LESS OF A SCHEDULE AND MORE OF A RELAY RACE.

Jeff White starts the afternoon at 2:30 PM.

Prime rib enters the competition at 4.

Then Zakk Grandahl & The Wh***ey River Troubadours take over at 6 PM.

Two live acts. One very serious piece of beef. Absolutely no unused portion of the day.

Jeff White opens Saturday with the kind of acoustic set that belongs beside the lake on a holiday weekend. Then, as afternoon turns toward evening, Zakk Grandahl & The Wh***ey River Troubadours bring the full country show and carry us straight into Saturday night.

Somewhere between the two, we strongly recommend dinner.

FRIDAY BELONGS TO BIG DEEKS.

There are bands you introduce—and then there are bands with enough regional reputation that the introduction mostly becomes a warning to arrive early.

Big Deeks takes the Eastbay stage Friday at 6 PM, bringing the kind of full-band show that turns a holiday Friday into an actual event.

But first, we feed you.

THE LAST SPLASH OF SUMMER STARTS THURSDAY.

Labor Day Weekend at Eastbay does not ease politely into anything.

We’re kicking off five straight days of live music with the Josh White Duo at 5:30 PM—and don’t let the word “duo” fool you. These guys bring considerably more horsepower than two people should reasonably be able to carry.

Originally from Louisiana and now based in Duluth, Josh is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer whose set can move from Garth Brooks and Chris Stapleton to Hootie & the Blowfish, Alice in Chains and Nirvana.

If your playlist contains country, rock, ’90s and grunge with absolutely no explanation between them, congratulations: Thursday was built specifically for you.

And because this is still #54745 Night, the locals specials begin after 5 PM:

The volleyball court is available for people who believe three cocktails improve coordination. They do not.

Come by boat and our dock crew will guide you in while you pretend you had it handled.
