At RDC, Earth Day is more than a single day on the calendar. It’s a reminder of our shared responsibility to protect the clear waters, quiet forests, wildlife, and natural beauty that make Squam so special for generations of families and visitors.

Through our Squam Environmental Preservation Fund (SEPF), we proudly support local conservation efforts that help safeguard the watershed and preserve the health of the lake for future generations.

Whether it’s paddling across calm morning waters, listening to loons at sunset, hiking the surrounding trails, or simply unplugging in nature, Squam reminds us every day why conservation matters.
