🚨 Camp HiYo Safety Update 🚨

The precautionary lockdown at Camp HiYo has been lifted, and normal campground activities may now resume.

We appreciate everyone’s patience, cooperation, and understanding while we took proactive steps to prioritize the safety of our guests and staff during the situation in the surrounding area.

Thank you for working with us and helping keep Camp HiYo a safe place for all. 💚

🚨 Important Safety Update for Camp HiYo Guests 🚨

Out of an abundance of caution due to an active law enforcement situation in the surrounding area, Camp HiYo is currently implementing a temporary precautionary lockdown.

At this time, there is no known threat on campground property, however the safety of our guests, residents, and staff is our top priority.

We ask that all guests please remain at their campsites/cabins until further notice and avoid unnecessary movement around the property while local authorities manage the situation.

We will provide updates as more information becomes available and when normal operations can safely resume.

At Camp HiYo, we don’t mess around when it comes to keeping our guests safe ❤️

Our General Manager is now SKYWARN Storm Spotter trained through the National Weather Service, which means we’re officially trained to recognize severe weather, spot dangerous storm conditions, and stay in the loop with real-time reporting.

Camping is all fun and games… until Mother Nature decides to put on a show — and when she does, we’re ready.

While we can’t control the weather, we can stay prepared, keep a close eye on things, and make sure our campers have the information they need to stay safe.
