Waikiki Shore Beach Service is now hiring for regular part-time and temporary-hire positions. Looking for dependable, trustworthy, energetic individuals with great customer service that are interested in working on the beach. Great opportunity to expand on customer service skills, make great connections throughout Waikiki, and stay fit working outdoors.

POSITION AVAILABLE: Beach Attendant-Starting pay $12/hour plus tips. We have opportunities for raises with experience and commitment.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensuring safety for employees and customers, customer care, public relations, repairing equipment, maintaining facility, working with vendors, implementing new ideas, working over-time, working holidays, explaining instructions for water equipment, setting up rental equipment in a timely manner, and water assistances/rescues.

REQUIREMENTS: Team player, working in the hot sun, capable of pulling or lifting 50-100 pounds repeatedly throughout an 8 hour work day, must know how to swim, familiar with the ocean and ocean equipment(surfboards, standups, kayaks, boogie boards, snorkel gear and fun islands). You must be able to set up and break down umbrellas and lounges. You must be able to communicate well with customers. Available to work holidays, weekends, overtime and flexible schedule.

Responsibilities and Requirements stated above are not limited to and may be subject to new implementation of similar assignments, tasks, undertaking, and so on.

NOTE: CPR, First Aid and Lifeguard certification is NOT required but is a plus. After 3 months on the job employer will assist in getting employees certified.

If you enjoy working outdoors, especially on the beach all day then this is the perfect job for you. No better office than on the beach in Waikiki!
