Best Vacation We Ever Had!

A perfect 10 out of 10:

1. The units are in excellent condition and perfectly maintained.

2. The view of the Pacific and the Lagoon are amazing.

3. Easy beach, lagoon and pool access.

4. The unit had beach chairs, boogie boards, pool passes, etc.

5. The Ilikai building is great - it has a convenience store, restaurant, shops, and friendly staff.

6. The location in Waikiki is perfect. You can walk to shops, beach, restaurants, bars, etc. There is always a taxi waiting downstairs for a trip. We also had a car for longer trips and the valet parking was under 4 minutes every time we needed the car. You can rent surf boards, take lessons (we used “Big Wave Dave’s), all within walking or 5 minute taxi ride.

7. The instructions and tips were really a game changer. Before arrival, the owners provided very easy instructions for Wifi, air conditioning, laundry, where to get groceries, where to eat, what to do, how to enjoy your stay. It saved countless time when looking for things to do.

8. Hospitality – the person who greets you contacts you days beforehand and provides his personal cell, email, etc. He texts you the day you arrive to make sure all is good; and greets you in the lobby. He was super friendly and only minutes away if we needed anything (we didn’t). He gave us a tour and stayed until no one had any questions.

9. The balcony – a perfect place to enjoy your time and soak up the views. One of the six of us were out there almost the entire time reading, enjoying a breakfast – or when all of us watched the Friday evening fireworks right from the balcony.

10. Spacious – there were 6 of us. 4 Adults and 2 Kids (10 and 7). There was plenty of space for us as they had two king size beds and two single beds so no one slept on a couch. They also had big refrigerator with freezer, 2 coffee makers, K-Cup machine, rice cooker, toaster, wine refrigerator, pots, pans, microwave, knife set, cooking utensils, etc etc. It made our stay very easy as we went down the road to the store and had plenty of food and drinks for the week with plenty of extra space in the fridge.

We vacation every year – Italy, Lake George, Florida, California, France, etc. This was by far our best place and we will rent this same place next time we go to Hawaii. We have already recommended it to our family and friends.

This condo suite sets the bar so high! I'm not sure there is another Hawaii rental that matches just how well thought out this rental is equipped. Fred and David were awesome when greeting us. You do things very different for the other rentals I've used. Professional is the word I would use. Thank You Ron.

This home was the absolute best of everything. I have been to O'ahu countless times to visit my family, but this was the first time my husband and I travelled with friends, so we needed 2 rooms. This was their first time to the islands, so I wanted the stay to be extra special, and this home did not disappoint.

The location could not be beaten, having all the access and convenience Waikiki has to offer, but close enough to the edge that driving to other points of interest was a snap. There are 2 wonderful restaurants, a cafe, a convenience store, and some little shops inside the building. We were within a short walk of Wailana, a 24/7 diner and favorite of my local family. We also took advantage of the laundry room on the same floor.

The home is exquisitely designed and decorated. The beds are so very comfortable! I have never gotten better sleep in a bed that was not my own. It was spacious enough for all of us to hang out and eat together, and offered absolute privacy when desired. The views from the balconies are gorgeous and the balcony furniture was so comfortable that I even took naps on the balcony. The kitchen has everything you need and we were able to cook some of our meals and take coffee and tea in the suite.

The pool was warm and inviting. The stretch of nearby beach was wonderful; and all the necessary beach equipment was available in the home- including beach towels, chairs, umbrella, etc.

Management of our reservation was handled quite professionally. Ron and Robyn are fantastic at what they do. All questions and emails were responded to very quickly. Robyn met us at check-in with leis and chocolates, and answered all of our questions with a gracious spirit of aloha.

We used the public garage around the corner which was almost half the price of daily parking charged by nearby hotels, due to a discount given to those staying at Ilikai. We were able to self park, so no long waits for valet which can be a nightmare at some of the other hotels in Waikiki.

I just cannot say enough to express my appreciation for the attention to detail. This truly felt like home away from home. Mahalo nui loa me ke pumehana. Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart.

Absolutely the Best !

We were here for our 10th year wedding anniversary and my mother-in-law's 60th b-day celebration. We decided to go with this suite and we were so glad with everything. It is a true home away from home. The locations is so convenient, we did not rent a car since all of the shuttles stop right in front of the hotel. Our 4 and 6 year old kids absolutely loved it. David is so thoughtful, he had beach chairs, beach umbrellas, drying racks and sand toys. We felt truly at home with everything ready at the tip of our hands. Every morning, we get the panorama view of the beautiful beach with coffee in our hands. It is totally true that the owner did not spare in the renos, the suite is finished with all high end, top quality furnishings. We were very impressed. Thanks David for sharing your home with us.
