I'm not sure how well you will be able to see these pictures but thanks to the "eagle eye" of my neighbor Beth Miller - we've had a rare sighting of an Albino Bald Eagle on our lake! The eagle is across the lake so I have taken these pictures through my telescope. On the first picture, look close and you'll see a juvenile to the right of the albino. It's times like this that I wish I had a really good camera. God's creation is magnificent!

Looking out my window, I see that Little Platte Lake is still frozen, but the sun is shining and the sky is so blue. This is "Pure Michigan" just like the state ads promote. Can't wait for spring and to open the cabins at Twin Birch Resort.

As promised, a few pictures when the snow began before the leaves fell. As it continued to fall daily, we ended up with over a foot of snow. Just a few miles north of us, the Empire area received over 33 inches! Being from southern Tennessee, Mike and Patsy enjoyed the snow. All pictures are compliments of them.
