🌿🥚🌽 A Little Taste of Farm Life 🌽🥚🌿
There’s something special about knowing exactly where your food comes from.
Today we’re enjoying fresh potatoes from the garden, beautiful homegrown vegetables, peaceful country views, and farm-fresh eggs from our neighbor, Donnie. We’re especially thankful for him taking such good care of his chickens and providing eggs that come from healthy, well-cared-for hens.
When you grow your own food or get it from people you know and trust, there’s a different level of appreciation. You know how it was raised, how it was cared for, and what went into producing it. From garden vegetables to fresh eggs, it’s food made the old-fashioned way—with time, effort, and care.
In a world where so much is processed and mass-produced, we’re grateful for simple things: fresh eggs, homegrown vegetables, a productive garden, and neighbors who help feed their community.
Sometimes the best things in life come straight from the garden, the chicken coop, and the people next door. ❤️

When the tornado sirens started going off today, I was already at Cedar Glade – The Gathering Place in Horseshoe Bend.
Since I was waiting for the weather to pass, I figured it was the perfect opportunity to test out our reclining massage chairs—and let me tell you, they did not disappoint! 😊
Comfortable, relaxing, and a great place to unwind while waiting out the storm. Thankfully, everything turned out okay, and it reminded me what a blessing it is to have a place where people can gather, relax, and feel at home.
If you haven’t checked out Cedar Glade lately, come by and see us. You might just find your new favorite spot to kick back and relax!

Sometimes the hardest decisions are the ones that save us.
Not every choice feels good in the moment. Sometimes growth means letting go. Sometimes healing means walking away. Sometimes choosing yourself means disappointing others.

There has been a lot of discussion in Horseshoe Bend regarding the proposed backyard hens ordinance, and many residents have expressed interest in learning more and having their voices heard.
On June 19th, Ray Hunter will be at Cedar Glade – The Gathering Place with information about the petition and available to answer questions for those interested in signing.
