From this vantage point you can see 360 degree (during Winter) 500 acres next to 1600 of forest preserve on our southern boarders. 7 springs, miles of trails to hike and explore. 2 Mountain Balds with various flowers that bloom like ocean waves across the ridges and ranges. It's worth hiking in gear and visiting for a weekend getaway. Off grid and rustic, but with almost all modern conveniences. The view from the main cabin porch is awe inspiring and the wood fire stove is used for heat and for cooking and baking.
