One of my favorite parts of traveling is exploring the small businesses that help make a community unique.

While attending the Rotary International District Conference in Rangeley this weekend, I had to stop by Rangeley Adventure Company. I always enjoy seeing how other outdoor recreation businesses operate and serve their communities.

Tony was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. From rentals to their gift shop, it’s easy to see why this business is such a gem in Rangeley. Visits like this are both inspiring and a reminder of what outdoor recreation businesses can mean to a community.

Today’s paddle adventure brought us visitors all the way from Southern Ohio! 🌎💙

This sweet couple is spending their honeymoon in Island Falls and decided to spend part of their special trip out on the water with Riversbend Paddle Co. They headed to beautiful Nickerson Lake for a relaxing day of kayaking, fishing, and taking in the peaceful scenery Northern Maine has to offer. 🎣🛶

Moments like this are such a great reminder of how lucky we are to have these incredible outdoor spaces right here in our backyard.
