We can’t thank everyone enough for all of the love and support you’ve shown our family. From the kind words and stories, to the cards, flowers, meals and everything in between, it has meant so much to us.

Some of you got to know her through Ferne Friday, but many of you knew her long before that. If you have a picture of Ferne at the campground, we'd love for you to share it in the comments. Maybe it's her behind the counter, dancing at bluegrass, riding around the campground, or stopping by for a visit.

We have a feeling there are some good ones out there our family has never seen.

We sure miss her so, so much. ❤️

Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1 at Amelia Family Campground, followed by a service at 6:00 p.m. A gathering of fellowship will follow the service. All are welcome to bring a dish to share as we continue remembering and celebrating a life well lived.

Good Morning, and Happy Ferne Friday! 🍳

This week, she tells us her go-to favorite breakfast. In true Ferne fashion, she starts by saying she doesn't want to talk, then somewhere along the way I make the mistake of saying she sometimes sleeps in past breakfast time... so she lets me know just how wrong I am for bringing that up. 😆
