Hello Alan And Gaven!
It’s Renea Flaishans’s from lot 36. I just wanted to reach out and let you know that the staff you have working is amazing!! Of course Gavin and Jenna are so quick to help with anything and make the campground run so smoothly. So many people are talking about ALL the activities Jenna planned for the summer. Jenna and Shane are a great team and the cleanliness of the campground. I went into the bathroom today and Jenna was scrubbing the walls like she would have been cleaning her own home. She is always cleaning something somewhere!! Shane came to our site yesterday to empty our tanks for us and he was so polite and so talkative. He was just wonderful. Andy, is always so wonderful with the kids and helpful. The kiddos love the hayride because of Andy and Shane!! And Chris, the security guard…. He puts up with some crazy things come night time and some people can be so disrespect him but he is always so professional and deals with it without a problem. The team you guys have has been AWESOME this year and you can see it through the entire campground!! It definitely shows what great employees you have. We appreciate each and every one of them!!

One of the things we’re most grateful for is our camping kids! ❤️🏕️

We absolutely LOVE seeing kids outside, getting dirty, exploring, laughing, and enjoying everything nature has to offer. One of our biggest goals is to encourage kids to put down the screens and truly enjoy what’s right around them. 🌿

Today, after all the rain we’ve had, our creek was flooded—and instead of seeing a bunch of kids sitting inside on their devices, we got to witness something SO much better. 🥹

We watched tons of kids take full advantage of that rushing water, with the biggest smiles, the loudest laughs, and so much excitement as they turned our flooded creek into what they proudly called their “lazy river.” 😂

Moments like these are exactly why we love what we do. Watching kids make memories, use their imaginations, explore nature, and just be KIDS is priceless.

Here’s to muddy feet, wet clothes, big smiles, and childhood memories that don’t require a screen. ❤️🌲

HOWELL AREA STORMS

The Howell area got hit really hard this week with 70 M.P.H. winds, bad lightning storms, power outages and lots of trees down.
We were very lucky the terrible wind missed the campground and we never lost power.

The bad lightning did take out several of our Internet
Wi Fi antennas in some areas of the campground.

We appreciate your understanding if you’re not able to get good internet this weekend do to the outage.
If you’re not able to stream TV shows in our rentals or your camper we do have DVD rentals available at our camp store.
