Today is the last working day for both Park Manager Ayla and Park Assistant Aimy at Hugo Lake Park, and it’s hard to put into words what this place has meant to us.
Ayla has spent almost 10 years here, growing from park maintenance to park manager. Aimy has been here almost 4 years (minus a few months away 😁), and together we’ve poured so much of ourselves into this park.
Hugo Lake has been more than a job. It has been long days, late nights, early mornings, laughter, stress, problem-solving, friendships, and countless memories. It has been a huge part of our lives and our families’ lives.
Saying goodbye is not easy. We’re leaving behind not just a workplace, but a place we truly loved.
To all of our regulars—thank you. Thank you for the conversations, the smiles, the support, and for making this park feel like home. You made even the hardest days worth it.
A piece of our hearts will always stay here. No matter where life takes us, we will always love Hugo Lake Park and cherish the memories made here. ❤️
