We’re so thrilled that the New York Times article naming Humboldt one of 52 Places for a Changed World is bringing so much interest to The Bailey and our collective of forthcoming businesses. As many have surmised, we’re still in the build-out phase here, but we are getting very close to finishing up all the major tasks and moving on to the finishing touches. While we don’t feel comfortable putting an opening date on the calendar right now, rest assured that we’ll begin to post more frequently to this page with updates and more information as we get closer to opening.
Here’s a little detail to help you get a sense of where we’re at. The guest rooms all have beds, but no bedding. The kitchen equipment is installed, but we’re still waiting on the exhaust ducts. The dining room has tables, but there’s nothing to sit on. We’ve installed beautiful new entry doors, but not the trim. We have our liquor license but no liquor. You get the point. Lots more work for our little crew.
We know many of you are considering planning a trip to Humboldt, and while we’d encourage a visit any time, we don’t want you to be disappointed by coming too early, before many of our 2022 projects have opened to the public. So make sure you follow our various pages for all the latest news…
