This one is all about the layers. A juicy beef burger layered with peppery arugula, creamy Brie, our house-made strawberry jalapeño bacon jam, fresh local strawberries and house-made garlic aioli. We take a lot of pride in the cleanliness of Raystown Country Bar & Lounge, not just what our guests see, but behind the scenes too. Keeping our restaurant clean, fresh, and well cared for is something that’s incredibly important to us.

So when it was time for the floors to get a professional deep clean, out came the Dirtbusters equipment! 🙌

Picture it… a toasted brioche bun spread with our house-made garlic aioli, a juicy local beef burger, rich, creamy, melty Brie, a generous layer of our house-made Strawberry Jalapeño Bacon Jam, and fresh peppery arugula to bring it all together. 🍓🥓🌶️

We’ve seen a few comments floating around lately about our menu pricing, so we wanted to take a moment to address them openly and share a little bit behind the scenes of what goes onto your plate.

We completely understand that dining out is a choice, and that meals can often be prepared more affordably at home when you factor in shopping, cooking, and cleanup yourself.

However, our pricing directly reflects our commitment to exceptional quality, scratch-made preparation, and supporting our community. With our burgers ranging from $15.95 up to $18.95 for our premium elk burger (and our specialty feature burger this week at $19.95), every single plate comes complete with a generous portion of fresh-cut fries and is crafted with immense care:

— Local & Hand-Pressed: Our burger meat is sourced locally, and we hand-press our own generous patties in-house every single day.
— Thoughtful Baking & Scratch Sauces: Our burger buns are crafted without enriched flours. Plus, the majority of our sauces—including our ranch, barbecue, Cajun cream, and many others—are whipped up completely in-house.
— Farm-Fresh & Local: Seasonal toppings like our farmers-market peaches are hand-picked, and the vast majority of our produce is sourced locally whenever available.
— Premium Preparation: We fry our items exclusively in beef tallow—a traditional, higher-quality cooking fat that is more costly than standard commercial oils, but chosen because it is better for you and delivers an incredible taste.
— Our Team & Standards: Beyond ingredients, our pricing covers our dedicated staff's fair wages, utilities, and maintaining a welcoming space for our community to gather and enjoy a meal they didn't have to prep, cook, or clean up after.

We take immense pride in what we serve, and we truly believe these prices are a fair reflection of a massive, locally sourced, scratch-made meal of this caliber. We are confident that the quality, care, and local sourcing put into every plate are well worth it.
