63 acres of fresh air for your easy-going events, creative retreats, and overnight stays in Hurdle Mills, North Carolina

The Land at Hawkins Loop is an enrichment and event center located in Hurdle Mills, North Carolina—a short, scenic drive from Durham, Hillsborough, and Roxboro. Chapel Hill, Raleigh, RDU International Airport, Greensboro, South Boston (VA), and Danville (VA) are within an hour by car. Brendan and Kat Love salvaged two adjoining century-old farmsteads to create the destination, converting houses, barns, and outbuildings into modern homes and meeting spaces. Local and visiting experts provide programming that makes nature, creativity, relaxation, and hands-on learning more accessible, particularly for young people in rural Person County, NC. The Land at Hawkins Loop strives to be a safe, inclusive, welcoming environment for all. Contact us about previews and partnerships.

The Hawkins Loop Guest House hosted a girls weekend for high school friends turning 50, and the Board Room was transformed by Hawk’s Nesting Boxes and Boards into the ultimate fine-dining-in-pajamas feast.

From the intake survey to capture preferences and allergies, to the creative collaboration on fabrics and decor, this event partnership was everything we could have hoped for and more.

Reach out to us to plan your own private event at Hawkins Loop and give Jennifer a follow to see more of her brilliant and delicious work!
