It’s been 5 months since Dad died unexpectedly. It’s been a long, difficult winter/spring getting Mom settled into our home in our largest guest room, merging as much furniture as we could- selling the rest, dealing with a second concussion on top of her first, debilitating one, building a shed to store her extra belongings, rebuilding a better garden to teach my daughters planting/growing/harvesting now that they are interested, spreading 10 yards of mulch on the flower gardens and sprucing everything up while we restart our Bed and Breakfast. It’s up and running steadily now through Airbnb and we seem to have the bugs worked out. Mom is back to working part time. And dare I say it? I’m back in my art studio! Life is “quieting down” into a routine at long last. I have a half mile long list of things to do now instead of a mile long. 😬 But they are smaller, more manageable, one day projects. Not 4 week projects. Gypsy is incredibly happy to be back here with me. 🥰 I have a custom Christmas ornament order I’m working on this week to get me back in the groove. I have missed talking with friends on here, so I hope to hear from you all in the coming days. Thanks for all the support and understanding these last few months. 💜💜💜💜
