Getting to know the place we love a little better. 🤎

We spent some time at the Iron County Historical Museum in Caspian learning about the area’s mining roots, exploring preserved historic buildings, and imagining everyday life here generations ago.

There’s so much history tucked into this corner of the U.P. We love finding more to explore—and more to share with our Snowy Owl Lodge guests.

One on a bike, one asleep in the stroller, and the rest of us taking the scenic route. 🍂🍎

We explored the entire Apple Blossom Trail from Iron River to Caspian—and walked it all the way back. Six miles of river views, lingering fall color, and a very solid stroller nap.

We missed peak fall color at the cabin, but that means our guests got to enjoy some of the prettiest weekends in the U.P. 🤎🍂

Our turn looked a little more like raking leaves… and the kids immediately undoing our work. Wouldn’t have it any other way.
