We’re five weeks into the Fork ’Em Over: Curbside pilot for food scraps. We’ve already diverted 6,420 pounds of food scraps from the landfill—about the weight of a pickup truck! That’s material now headed toward becoming nutrient‑rich compost instead of creating greenhouse gases —and we’d love to see that impact grow even more.

We’re hoping to expand the number of households taking part in the pilot. If everyone recruited just one neighbor, friend, or family member within the pilot area, we would reach our goal for participants.
